The Stream

This installation builds on the same idea as the Lily pond (see below). This time the paper pieces hang above the visitors. The room is dark but the paper is highlighted with UV-light and set in motion with fans.

The stream describes a winding river that varies in height, thickness and width. Visitors can move around beneath it or sit (or lie) and watch the 750 pieces randomly move. The installation is approx. 15 meters long.

The Cardboard room

Daylight seeps through the cardboard fragments and contribute to a meditative athmosphere. It is at the same time invigourating. The room is airy and the calm is overwhelming. It feels as if time has stopped.

The room is made of cardboard pieces attached with wire. At the end of the room, behind the cardboard curtain, is a window covered by a plastic sheet. It makes the light soft. The sound is also softened in the room.

The Lily pond

The floating cutouts on the billowy surface reminds of waterlilies. But there is no water in this installation. Invisible threads hold the cardboard pieces and a silent fan makes the pieces move. The shimmering, fluorescent light also helps putting the viewer in a comfortable mood.

Like the cardboard room, this is also a place for the mind to rest.

The pool

This is an installation with hidden fans and hanging images of eyes. Beneath the eyes are cut outs from images of a face. The facial expressions change when the eye pieces turn.
